Zoo Education
At Zoo School, we aim to provide a safe, clean, pleasant and caring environment for each child. Students may develop their physical, social, emotional and intellectual potential at their own pace while fostering a respect for wildlife and wild places through unique Zoo interactions.
Angel of Hope
As a charitable organization, we know first-hand how special it feels to receive and how important is to give back. The Angels of Hope program supports other charitable organizations by offering sponsorship to their members throughout the year.
Donating to the causes we care about not only benefits the charities we support themselves, but is deeply rewarding for us too. The knowledge that we are helping others is hugely empowering and, in turn, can make us feel happier and more fulfilled as a team.
Having the power to give a positive experience and improve the mood of others is truly a privilege and one that comes with its own sense of obligation. Acting on these powerful feelings of responsibility is a great way to reinforce our own personal values, it feels like we’re impacting in a way that is true to Hope Zoo’s own vision and ethical beliefs.
Angels of Hope Zoo program offers to treat days at the zoo to Hospitals, and charitable organizations such as Food for the Poor, brotherhood, and State Homes for children at no cost to them. The visiting members of these organizations get to spend the day at the zoo exploring all the activities our zoo has to offer. These activities include a Zoo tour, Animal interaction, Zoo Keeper talks as well as enjoying our interactive play zone facilities.
Our mission for the program is that with each visit one person will take with them the knowledge to believe they can make a difference. We believe this is a wonderful, empowering message for kids and adults that they are important enough to have an impact on someone or something else by Nurturing, tolerance, patience, compassion and acceptance to all living things great or small.
